Kathy Brost is the Founder and Managing Member of Brost & Associates Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm which provides regulatory monitoring and continuing education training for financial service professionals. Kathy is also Founder and Managing Member of Brost & Associates Law Offices, LLC, a boutique law firm focusing on the legal issues of small to medium sized fraternal benefit societies and life insurance companies. Together the boutique law firm and consulting firm provide a holistic network of legal, compliance and training services not otherwise seen in the small life insurance company industry. Kathy's practice fields are insurance, tax and securities law as with a focus on the life insurance industry and its products.

Kathy has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry, eleven of which were as inhouse counsel to the nation's largest fraternal benefit society, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans f/k/a Aid Association for Lutherans. While there, she focused her practice on the administration, sale and marketing of fixed and variable life insurance and retirement products. Kathy graduated from Lakeland College with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration-Management. Kathy received her juris doctor degree (cum laude) from University of Wisconsin Law School. She is admitted to bar in Wisconsin and U.S. District Court in Wisconsin and has applied to the Minnesota bar. In addition to being an attorney, Kathy is also a Certified Financial Planner, a Chartered Life Underwriter and holds NASD securities licenses 7 and 66. Kathy is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Society of Financial Services Professionals and the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Wisconsin. She is a frequent contributor to the Fraternal Monitor, the trade magazine for fraternal benefit societies.

David Nelton, M.S.
HR Training and Development

David specializes in individual coaching, leadership development, organizational assessment, instructional design, team development, change and transition management, training, and public speaking.

David has over 20 years of experience in the field of human resource development. His list of contributions include establishing a Fortune 500 company's computer based training and multimedia function, leading the design and develop of a total quality program, implementing a comprehensive leadership development program and leading a team building process during a merger and downsizing.

David graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. He also received his masters in Human Resources Training and Development. In addition David holds the following certifications:
